mbrela
mbrela is the collaboration between three product design and industrial design programmes based at three international universities; the University of Lincoln, (UK), Philadelphia University and San Jose State University (USA).
This exhibition will offer you a glimpse of their recent collection of products that have been designed and created collaboratively by the staff and students, across the continents, through the use of blogging, skype and research visits. The collection of fresh, exciting and fun products featured in the exhibition include; ‘Dragg’, an electric blue coloured rope light; ‘Psyko’ a chair that rocks mysteriously when it is empty, ‘Zoomster’, a children’s ride on toy that can be decorated by its owner and ‘Denrug’, a rug that lets you climb inside!
Join us on Wednesday 3 October at 6pm for an evening with mbrela when we welcome speakers from the University of Lincoln, Philadelphia University and San Jose State University as well as an after-hours tour of the exhibition. Entry is free, everyone is welcome.
